Rental Equipment
Electron-X has a range of X-ray equipment available to hire out to customers requiring access to X-ray inspection for in-house NDT testing. This may be advantageous when inspecting large volumes of parts or samples of a sensitive nature, or to enable more immediate feedback on quality control.
The systems are delivered and installed by our engineers who will conduct a short training programme covering equipment operation and safety. Each system can be set up to suit the customer's particular requirements and a technician with no previous x-ray experience can be taught to use the system within a couple of hours. Advice can also be given on obtaining the best images and interpretation of results. The whole installation process would normally be completed within 1 day.
The rental systems are safe and easy to use and comply fully with current Health and Safety legislation and in particular with the Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999 (IRR99). We will assist your company to design the necessary safety procedures to comply with IRR99.
Some rental equipment is also available for sale.
